Lauren is the founder and owner of Lark Theatre Studio. She has been a performing arts instructor for over fifteen years. Lauren is an award winning director and published playwright. As an actor, she has performed in over thirty productions including “Lady Macbeth” in Macbeth, “Mother” in Six Characters In Search of an Author, and “Essie” in You Can’t Take It With You. She has worked in varying facets of theatre education, having directed close to forty productions for the elementary, middle school, high school, community, and professional demographics, including Annie, The Wizard of Oz, The Lion King, She Kills Monsters, and the Appell Center for the Performing Arts' Annual Playwriting Festival. She is also the co-director of Lower Dauphin High School's Thespian Society. Lauren is thrilled to be bringing her passion for the performing arts to students of all ages through Lark Theatre Studio!

Doug is an English and Theatre Arts teacher at Lower Dauphin High School in Hummelstown, PA. Doug has earned a B. A. in English and an M.A. in American Studies from the Pennsylvania State University. He has performed in over a dozen plays and one-acts including Charley's Aunt, Our Town, and A Christmas Carol. Doug has directed the Lower Dauphin High School fall play since 2010. His Lower Dauphin fall play productions include It's A Wonderful Life, Alice in Wonderland, and Arsenic and Old Lace. He also produces Lower Dauphin’s annual one-act festival, Dramapalooza. He loves getting a chance to work with Lark Theatre Studio students and watch them become the best they can be!
Kayla is currently a rising junior at the University of the Arts where she is pursuing her BFA in Dance under the mentorship of Donna Faye Burchfield. She has performed in works by acclaimed artists including Sidra Bell, Shayla-Vie Jenkins, Jesse Zaritt, Tommie-Waheed Evans, and Katie Swords Thurman. She grew up dancing at E-Dance Center in Elizabethtown, PA. She has trained for over a decade in various styles including jazz, ballet, pointe, tap, hip hop, and modern. Kayla has also taught jazz/funk classes. At Elizabethtown Area High School, she was the student choreographer for FAME , Cinderella , and The Sound of Music . In 2017, she attended the Boston Conservatory Summer Dance Intensive. Kayla is excited to be a part of the Lark Theatre Studio team!
Joe is a recent graduate of Millersville University with a B.S. in Speech Communications and a minor in music. He is currently earning a second degree in Music Education at West Chester University. Joe has taken on the role of musical director for several productions including Little Shop of Horrors, Pippin, Seussical, and Heathers: The Musical. Along with his experience as a music director, Joe is a seasoned actor. He has performed in Anything Goes, Seussical, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sin, and Rodgers and Hammerstein's A Grand Night for Singing. Joe is so grateful he gets to work at Lark, where they set their foundations on teaching a love for the theatrical arts, inclusion and diversity.
Olivia is an incoming freshman at Penn State University. Olivia has been involved in theater for many years and has performed in several productions, including It's A Wonderful Life (Janie Bailey), Nice Work If You Can Get It (Flo), Pink Panther (Margot Fassbender), The Sound of Music (Sister Margaretta), She Kills Monsters (Evil Tina), Mamma Mia! (Lisa), Legally Blonde (Brooke Wyndham), and Silver Belles (Clara Lewis). Olivia received an Honorable Mention from the Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards for her performance as Clara in Silver Belles. Outside of school, she is a competitive gymnast and dancer. Olivia is excited to start her collegiate journey and continue pursuing her passion for music and theater.
Chiara Meyers is a rising junior creative writing and English major with a specialization in theater and literature at Lebanon Valley College. She has appeared in multiple productions at both Lower Dauphin and LVC. An active member of LVC's Wig & Buckle Theater Company, Chiara recently directed their 2020 production of Almost, Maine and is currently the director/choreographer of LVC's 2020 fall musical, Bonnie & Clyde. Outside of theater, Chiara is a member of LVC's Concert and Chamber Choir as well as the Symphony and Chamber Orchestra. She studies dance at Susquehanna Dance Academy where she is also a substitute teacher. Chiara is ecstatic to be able to work with Lark Theatre Studio this summer!

Nikki has been performing on stage for nearly ten years. She recently graduated from Millersville University with a degree in Communication and Theatre. At Millersville, Nikki directed Seussical for ACMO. Nikki has also performed as Trisha in Dog Sees God, Emily Brent in And Then There Were None, and Helen in Sin. In addition to performing, she has worked at the JCC Summer Camp as an advocate in the Open Hearts/Open Doors program for children of all ages. Nikki is so excited to get to work with the talented performers at Lark Theatre Studio!
Annie is a junior at Lower Dauphin High School. She has been a dancer for several years, learning a variety of styles including jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, modern, and lyrical/contemporary. Annie is also involved in theatre, both on and off stage. She has most recently performed as a Delta Nu in Legally Blonde The Musical, and was stage manager for Silver Belles. Annie is excited to spend time with others who share her passions, and is very grateful for the opportunity to be a junior counselor at Lark Theatre Studio!
